Challenge
The 3D Girls, Inc. was experiencing rapid growth, the founder Raioni was concerned that her brand would be perceived in its current form. She wanted to make a bold statement and signal to the world that her organization was ready for the spotlight!
Perfect Timing
The project started with me, Raioni, and a 30 min meeting at Starbucks on the eastside of Atlanta. The excitement was palpable for both of us! Her organization was growing fast and she realized she had no brand to speak of. I was deeply invested in her mission to empower youth women through mentorship and wanted to help elevate her visual presence.
After a number of discussions, we uncovered the brand attributes that would be the foundation for the identity.
Design
There are three attributes that come to mind when thinking about 3D Girls, Inc. empowering, educating, and advocating. Using these attributes I created a style guide that embraced a bold traditionally feminine identity. Using photography that featured hopeful minority faces experiencing joy. A vivid color palette to draw the attention of any passerby and visual elements such as the stars, that stay true to the core values of the organization.
